Susanne first discovered yoga in 2003. After exploring various styles including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow and Iyengar yoga, she decided to train as a teacher in the hope of sharing with others the many benefits of a regular practice she had discovered along the way.

Travelling to the birthplace of yoga to undertake her training, Susanne studied with Noah McKenna in Mysore, India.

Susanne embraces the therapeutic value of yoga and is passionate about making it a practice open to everyone. She has a long-standing fascination with human anatomy and kinesiology and continues to study and marvel at the miracle of the human body. She also harbours a passion for embracing mindfulness in everyday life and believes that a holistic approach to mind-body health is an essential part of achieving true wellbeing.

Susanne teaches Hatha yoga for both beginners and experienced students. Her teaching style combines fluid and meditative sequencing combined with mindful and precise movement.

“Susanne is a wonderful teacher – she has a lovely calm and nurturing quality. What I particularly like is her attention to detail, verbal instructions and demonstrations, allowing you to fully benefit from the postures you are guided through. I always leave feeling an inch taller and completely de-stressed.” ~ Sarah Lockhart-Martin
